Into the Fourth

Into the Fourth (2019) is a series of large-scale paintings presented by the Honolulu Museum of Art. Developed from a single drawing, the project draws on research during a residency at Google Daydream, time spent with Monet’s Water Lilies in Paris, and an engagement with Josef Albers’ explorations of color and geometry. This project weaves together observation, research, and experimentation into a unified body of work that explores how perception shifts through layered systems of color and form.
